Today, our department is celebrating a special anniversary! 125 years ago our department started from from a group of community leaders who had a desire to provide emergency fire services to the Town of Sussex. That was 1893. Much has changed over these many years but that desire to serve our neighbours has not. Once called “The Snappy Fire Department of the Maritimes” we still work hard to be quick and ready to provide our community with the best service we can! Thank you for allowing us to continue to serve you in this wonderful community of Sussex, New Brunswick, 🇨🇦 Canada!
