Today was another big day for us in our community as the Sussex Fire Department visited Sussex Corner Elementary School, Sussex Elementary School, Sussex Christian School and Apohaqui Elementary School! We were excited to share this year’s National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Fire Prevention Week 2018 theme: “Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware. Fire can happen anywhere.” Take the time to talk to children about fire safety, fire prevention and a home fire escape plan. Fire Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Remember: “Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware. Fire can happen anywhere.”
