Many of our firefighters are fathers. Everyone is a daughter or son. Many a family gathering has been interrupted for an emergency call. Many an evening or weekend that could have been spent with family has been in the classroom or on the training grounds. Firefighter families sacrifice to keep their community safe by giving up this time with fathers. Today we celebrate Father’s Day by remembering the people who allow these men to serve.
